It goes without saying that people are deciding everything in any company. We particularly happy about our team and would be pleased to introduce people you are mainly talking to in our office on day-to-day basis, in no particular order, of course...

Nadežda Šavikina (NADJA) is presumably the most important person in our office, because it is her voice you would normaly hear when you call us. Have you ever tried to be always nice? She manages that perfectly well. Furthermore she is responsible for nearly every possible thing in our office, so we can provide you with the best possible service. And it should never been forgotten that Nadja has MBA degree from University of Latvia.

Nadja is fancy fast driving with music, sea, sun and dancing, so we all wonder how she can do it all at the same time... 

Diāna Kalvāne (DIANA) takes care about cargo accounts irrespective of size, type, value or destination. Whenever this is a single shipment of our client's personal belongings or complex stock throughput policy or fine art she will be able to find the most suitable solution. Diana also adore ship building and ship repair; maybe because every day she passes Riga Shipyard or her way to work or because this is very romantic. In any case she is certainly your contact person when it comes to BR or SRL insurance. Diana graduated from University of Latvia and she is a qualified lawyer.

Diana likes to travel, crazy about surfing and adores music.

Jurijs Mikels (JURIJS) is responsible for representing interests of our clients when it comes to non-marine insurance as well as looking after them if anything unpleasant happens (touch wood!) in order to make insurance and claims handling on non-marine line up to top possible quality. Jurijs is a qualified lawyer with degree from University of Latvia, he used to work within banking industry and spent last ten years as head of insurance department of Inserviss Credit, which is part of Societe Generale Group.   

Jurijs may eat king prawns every day, likes Premiership football and heavy music.

Valentins Melkis (TIMS) is a marine man. After graduation from Maritime Academy he started his sailing ways on different types of vessels and after seeing all oceans and most of the seas he stepped ashore and began his marine insurance broker career. He spent nearly 10 years working for Colemont FKB Latvia, but finally found his home with us. Tims mainly deals with marine hull, P&I and charterers' liability. As a real marine man he sometimes tends to be very straight forward, but that's what we all want to be in the end of the day!

Valentins is a eager ice hockey fan, you always see him during Latvia's national team or Dinamo Riga games.

Aleksejs Galkins (ALEX) loves marine claims. He is manly dealing with complex and difficult hull and machinery claims and supporting our clients in marine law aspects. Alex has experience working for Skuld and Russian insurer, he tried himself in container giant companies, but he always have been involved in claims. Sometimes underwriters and opponents of our clients are getting mad about him, but this is why our clients likes him a lot! 

Alex is fancy anything you can call "good"... good movie, good food, good claims...

Emils Petermanis (EMIL) is our cargo and logistics claims guru. Unlike some of our collegues-insurers, we believe that claims are true face of any insurer. And here comes Emils, who graduated from Maritime Academy of Latvia as one of the top students in navigation department. He spent more than 10 years onboard Latvian Shipping vessels and stepped ashore as chief mate. He easily speaks the same language with our marine clients and tries to teach the same to non-marine people.

Emils can stay without food for days if he can have a pint of Brengulu Alus.

Agnese Vingolde (AGNESE) is the most adorable person in our team and she is not only pleasant and helpful person, but also our finance manager. She transfers salaries and bonuses, which we like, but at the same time she manages collecting outstanding premiums and making underwriters happy by getting their moneys in time.

Agnese feels perfect during music festivals, in the swimming pool or wearing a nice looking dress.

Andrejs Radionovs (ANDREJS) is our managing director. He takes care about all technical issues about running the company, reporting to board and shareholders, but he never forgets the clients! Andrejs was one of the insurance broking pioneers in Latvia as he started his ways around broking once our country became independent! Andrejs' favourite lines are port liability, equipment and anything you can call "a project".

Andrejs likes to travel and enjoy good dinner in a company of positive people.

Aleksandrs Abuzjarovs (ALEKS) is chairman of our board. He is currently heading recently established branch of specialist marine insurer's Groupama Transport S.A., but also not forgetting us if we run into something complicated. He will always be happy to help our clients too...

Aleks loves marine insurance, Internazionale Milano FC and his labrador Ungaro.
