Jurijs Mikels joins our team on 18/02/2008

We are pleased to announce and naturally welcome JURIJS MIKELS to our friendly team. Jurijs will be responsible for non-marine interests of our clients as well as claims handling on all lines except marine and aviation. Jurijs is a qualified lawyer with degree from University of Latvia; he used to work within banking industry and spent last ten years as head of insurance department of Inserviss Credit, which is part of Societe Generale Group.

Underwriting contract between SIA Marine Insurance Services and AAS If Latvia terminated

After two successful years of co-operation between SIA Marine Insurance Services and AAS If Latvia both parties mutually agreed to terminate underwriting and claims handling contract with effect from 01/09/2006. Both companies consider this change as a step forward and such change will not affect our clients in any way. SIA Marine Insurance Services with now on will represent interests of its clients as insurance and reinsurance broker. As it had always been we will not fail to assist our clients in finding proper insurance solutions and to carry claims work on their behalf. Please find enclosed a formal letter to our clients and co-operation partners (in Latvian).
